Summary

Thomas Whisenhant was a relatively well mannered child. That is, up until the age of 12. He became violent, and was involved in several smaller crimes. Ultimately, this escalated to something way more sinister.

Yeah, so if you are just now joining us, we are diving into some crimes from our home state of Alabama. We started with

0:39.6

Rocky. We have done a few since then. So hope you are now joining us for the ride because apparently

0:47.7

a lot of really wild stuff has happened here. You would think us being Southern, we'd have a little bit of charm and hospitality.

0:57.7

Turns out, not so much. Our last episode took us to the topmost corner of Alabama. Now this week's

1:05.0

episode takes us to the southernmost tip next to the Gulf of Mexico. And we're talking about Mobile, Alabama. Now, Mobile has

1:14.1

1:21.7

Mardi Gras. It kind of carries over from New Orleans along the coast of Mississippi and then over to the coast of Alabama.

1:29.8

And what's cool about Mobile area is that for New Year's, they drop, instead of a ball,

1:36.1

they drop a moon pie. That is true. That is true. And Mobile is known to me as the place where I got

So just a little fun fact there.

1:58.5

Again, keep in mind at the time, they were all there at different times.

2:01.4

So they each kind of held the record, I guess, so to speak. And like we said in the last episode,

2:07.4

you know, we've been on kind of this social justice kick. This one, not so much. This one,

2:12.9

we're going to talk about what the heck happened in this situation to get this person where he ended up.

2:21.2

So let's start the story at the beginning just to try to understand Thomas.

2:26.0

Now Thomas was born January 29th in 1947.
