Hello and welcome to another episode of the Mark Gross podcast.

You know, one of the things that I didn't know I needed until I found it was feeling like I wasn't broken in a relationship, that there wasn't something wrong with me.

0:20.8

That the way I related wasn't because of some dysfunction, but because I was afraid of being

0:28.4

too close to love or afraid of being too far from it or afraid of where love would lead.

0:34.1

You know, when I finally understood that, that it was normal for humans to get anxious when

1:35.8

And that was so helpful. And so I wanted to bring an expert on today to be able to talk about

1:42.5

attachment. Attachment theory. It is, by learning about it,

1:46.2

it is, I would say, the most impactful thing to change my life, to change how I related. And it doesn't

1:52.5

just influence your romantic relationships. It will influence all of your relationships, because

1:58.7

you take your attachment system with you.

2:01.5
