So on our last episode, we discussed the spike in hate crimes since Trump was elected.

The already occurring or normalization of Trump in the media.

And we just kind of took some time to check in with each other emotionally.

Speaking of which, Jamil, how are you feeling?

I'm doing better.

I think that, you know, every day I'm not waking up with the sudden realization that Trump is president and breaking out into a cold sweat like I was pretty much for the first week.

There's been some good writing that's come out of this.

And I think that's helped me sort of deal with, you know, not only the trauma and the surprise of his election,

but also there's a lot of great ideas being tossed around about how to strategize and how to prepare
