So we were talking about the premise of the show and it's something that you know

as a leader, I mean, a lifelong leader of people, right?

And some of the highest levels of operations in government

you're, you know, uniquely familiar with.

But before we get into all that stuff, tell me about how you got into like your upbringing a little bit, where you were born, where you grew up, tell me about your parents, and then what made you decide to join the U.S. military?

My story is, I guess, is one of the textbook, you know, come from nothing, decide to go ahead

and take control of your life and do something not only for self but for others.

But I was born and raised in Puerto Rico southwest corner of the island, a place called Guanica.

Grew up fairly poor, my parents were both of the island, place called Guanica.
