Welcome to the perfume room. My scent of the day today is not a new scent, but it's sort of new. So I am wearing La Pontaire from Cardier. However, I'm not wearing the au de perfume or any of its flankers.

I am wearing the brand new body oil.

Incidentally, this also happens to be what I think is the most affordable thing that you can

purchase in the Cardier store.

So if you feel like having a bougie little day and like walking out with that red Cardier

highly recommend getting one of their body oil fragrances.

I think they have four of their like classic scents in body oil form.

I forget what the other three are.

Anyway, I didn't purchase this because it was cheaper than the odopartfam.

I actually purchased it because I prefer it to the auto perfume because the auto perfume has

sort of like a dryer sheet starchiness kind of texture that I don't love that much. Well, actually,

let's go back a few steps. So La Ponceux came out, I think,

like 10ish years ago, and it's sort of like a remake or a reimagination of Alberto

Marius's 1980s classic Ponteur, which was a beautiful gardenia carnation, a lang-o-lang,

nutmeg, sheep fragrance. And La Ponteur, which is the Matilde-Ler

version, feels much more youthful and it feels like sort of reimagined for like a modern day

perfume consumer. It feels like an approachable sheep, like the same way that something like Armani C is.

It's definitely mossy, but it's kind of like veiled in this sort of like fruity floral kind of vibe.

It's very much a musky, mossy gardenia, but it is surrounded by fruit.
