Mia Renee, and today we're getting into another powerful topic that will empower you to keep God at the center of everything that you do as an entrepreneur, as a leader, and as an influencer.

0:18.5

Let's get into today's show.

0:28.1

All right. So today we're going to be talking about what it takes to get results. What is it going to take to get results in business? What is it going to take to get results in your bank

0:33.1

account, in your finances, you know, in your leadership role. And what we're going to talk about today

0:39.2

is sometimes hard to hear, and people don't want to hear it. They want to hear that there's some

0:42.3

super secret to avoid what we're about to talk about today. But just like the phrase goes, you know,

0:49.4

there is no elevator to success. You're going to have to take the stairs, right? So there's no way around it

0:57.1

for you to get results and for you to have success. It's going to require diligence and hard work.

1:02.2

And if we want to know what the Bible says about that, hey, go read the book of Proverbs,

1:05.3

and you will see that it repeats over and over in a variety of different ways that diligence and hard work leads to

1:12.7

prosperity and idleness and laziness leads to poverty. You know, it says it over and over

1:19.2

1:24.8

of the servant who was given money. In this case, it was money, but think of it as our

1:30.9

talents, our skills, our resources, or money. One servant was given, you know, a bag of silver.

1:36.3

Another servant was given several bags of silver. Now, the one servant who buried the bag

1:41.5

and gave it back to the master and said, here you go, I buried it.

1:46.3

So you're just getting back what you gave me was called wicked and lazy because he did nothing

1:51.3

with what was given, right? He didn't multiply it. He just hid it, right? So are we hiding our talents and

1:57.7

skills? Are we not using what was given? We're not multiplying it. We're just hiding it. And really, you know, as we can see, that's called wicked and lazy. I mean, let's just call it what it is. Again, this is hard to hear sometimes, but I'm just being straight with you. And actually, this can be a game changer for entrepreneurs to actually get this and not live in la la land, right right, of like, oh, no, I can somehow get results

2:19.4

while I sit here on the couch and eat bonbons or, you know, think about what I'm going to do

2:24.4

one day versus get it done. So we can see here that that servant was called wicked and lazy.
