1:46.9 | After we adopted my son Noah, my disorder to eating patterns only worsened due to the stress of new motherhood, and I knew it was time for me to seek some professional help. |
1:56.0 | That's when I first started seeing a counselor, and I have been utilizing counseling as a tool to support my mental health fairly consistently in the almost 10 years sense. |
2:05.4 | That's a lot of therapy my friends, and it has done me a world of good. |
2:11.0 | My relationship with food and my body is still occasionally a struggle for me, but overall I'm in a completely different place than I was before I started counseling, |
2:19.8 | with so many more tools for emotional resilience, so much more perspective on the value of my body beyond just what it looks like, and so much more self assurance in who I am. |
