it be cool if there were sit-ins? That would actually be kind of dope. They just sat on the field,

didn't play.

And we're going to talk about the Dakota Access Pipeline and get some background on what the standing Rock Sioux and many other native people are protesting.

But first, from now until the election, we're going to take a few minutes to catch up on the presidential race.

It's been a while since we, as a show, touched on the issue of the 2016 election, and we obviously can't cover everything.

But luckily, we have a man by the name of Jim Eel Smith, who can talk about some of the recent events regarding

rhetoric, race, and the quest for the presidency. Specifically, Donald Trump's recent visit to a

black church in Detroit. Jamil, Jamil, you're a senior national correspondent for MTV News and

wrote about the visit in a piece titled Fear of a Black audience on Tuesday. So I wanted to explore

a few things about this.

First of all, what's Trump's specific appeal to black folks and how likely is that appeal even to work?
