Thank you. My name is Ben, welcome back to another episode and today Cody, I mean, there's so many things

going on in the NBA that we could talk about, but I wanted to sort of take a step back for a second and

evaluate where we are in the league in 2023.

We've mentioned, for instance, offensive rating

being at an all-time high.

I think offensive rating, the league wide average

for offensive rating now is like what 113 and a half or something like

that over the last month it's actually gone up a bit. It's at 1.14 and as we've

mentioned before on this show, offenses usually get a little bit more

efficient throughout the season as the year progresses.

So who knows where we're going to end up.

Maybe you'll have an offensive rating of 1.14

at the end of the year and be a below average team on offense.

Maybe the best offense will be at 120. But you know, maybe there's

reasons for this that extend beyond things like officiating and sort of the

general shape of the league and the effectiveness of the way

teams are running offenses.

That's kind of what's been going through my head for the last couple months.
