It began long ago, two young boys in an American town riding their bikes to school and little league practice.

Over the years, the boys became fast friends, united in their love for stories where things would go horribly wrong.

J.G. slightly under the weather and he's going to go first today just because we don't want his

voice to go out.

Nancy and I are just back from a week in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts.

That sounds so fancy.

It does, doesn't it?

So we're sitting at our, well, I guess it would be our favorite restaurant in Boston just because we've eaten

there two years in a row on the day after July 4th. It's a place called the Salty Girl.

They have one in downtown Boston and they have one in West Hollywood out here. So we're

sitting there, sitting at the bar for lunch, and I go to move my chair out a little bit.

And at first I think, oh, these things must be bolted down because it's so incredibly heavy.

I can barely move it.

I do.

We're chatting.

And after maybe 15 minutes, this guy comes up and sits to my left, and I can see him struggling to pull his chair out.

And I look over at him and I say, you know, you really got to want to move that because these things way a freaking ton.

And he looks at me and smiles and says, yeah, I was just thinking to myself, this is one of the heaviest chairs I've ever seen.

So after a few minutes, Nancy, who's kind of been looking at this guy, sends me a text and says,
