0:17.1	Oh, hi everyone. Welcome back to the podcast. This is a solo episode with your host, Dr. Edie Wadsworth. I'm so happy to be here. This is episode 162, 10 things that are inspiring me in the new year. So I don't know if you love the new year as much as I do, but I love it. It's my birthday
0:40.6	month. I just turned 54. I love the cold. There are so many things about nesting and staying in.
0:48.7	I love that it's dark. All the things actually that my husband does not love about January.
0:52.8	I love. I think it might be my second favorite month of the year.
0:58.4	So dare I say that?
1:00.1	But I do love it.
1:01.2	So I want to share 10 things that are inspiring me in the new year.
1:05.4	I mean, maybe in no particular order, but definitely this first one is one of my faves.
1:11.2	Number one is weekly divine service with communion.
1:16.2	So if you follow me over on Instagram, which you should, at Edie Wadsworth, almost every Sunday,
1:21.1	I post a picture of the, like, a pamphlet that our church gives us when when we walk in like the bulletin and we go to
1:31.8	a lutheran church it's beautiful it's historic they're stained glass everywhere we follow the divine
1:36.8	service we follow the church here it's just seriously so amazing i love it with my whole heart. We drive an hour to church, you guys,
1:47.9	and I even have come to love the hour that we're driving to church. I usually sit with my journal.
1:54.4	We're usually listening to a podcast about what is going to be taught at church. My husband and I are both really like theology geeks.
2:03.0	So we're usually listening to a podcast about like this week was the baptism of Jesus.
2:10.4	And so we'd listen to a podcast on the way to church about this. And then by the time we get to church
2:15.9	and we have a pipe organ and the hymns and the stained glass
2:19.3	and the beautiful liturgy, it's just so incredible. Our church serves communion every Sunday.
