This podcast is an outreach of authentic intimacy, a ministry dedicated to reclaiming God's

design for intimacy and sexuality. You know, as Christians, we live with the tension of walking

according to our convictions, what we believe to be God's truth, while also being people who love others

as God calls us to. And if you've been watching the news lately, you know the most recent example

of this is the issue of abortion. In America, we have a long tradition of arguing either for

the rights of the mother or for the rights of the unborn child. And this month's headlines are

no exceptions. So how do we stand by the conviction that abortion is taking an innocent life

and still show Jesus' love to those who experienced unplanned pregnancy or for those who may

carry the guilt of past abortions? How do we even have civil conversations with people that disagree with us?

Well, today I want to go back to a conversation that I had with Hannah Nitz and Angie

Wesley.

Angie is the co-founder of Pro Grace, an organization working to remove the politics and judgment

surrounding abortion and replace it with a deeper

understanding of God's design for women, children, and pregnancy. Beyond pro-life or pro-choice,

today you're going to hear a third option, the option to value the life of the mother and the

life of the child equally, just as Jesus would.
