In the semi-arid climate of Moab, rain is gold. Many plants, animals, and micro-organisms lie in wait for a single raincloud to pass by. And as the rain blesses the traces of life throughout the desert, it also shapes the surrounding rock formations. Erosion cuts away at the hardened sediment like a patient sculptor, leaving behind some of the most beautiful formations on the planet.
