doing this this is actually my second podcast today i had a guy oh really, I was trying to get a hold of a guy. His name's Dave Thomas. He runs Bowhunter Planet. It's a big bow hunting website. Oh, okay. And I got hooked up with him through a mutual friend. And we had been talking about doing an episode, and he shot me at text like last night saying yeah do it at 730 in the morning

oh wow and i was like yeah let's do it so he came over and we had coffee this morning and

sweet first time i ever done two podcasts yeah but it worked out pretty good so he's from right around

here then yeah he loves right in sterling heights oh okay yep and he's got a, he's got a really interesting, his website.

He does a thing called Test Lab.

So he does YouTube videos and puts his content out digitally on testing new bows

and archery equipment in general, but primarily bows.

Okay.

So companies will send him their bows like the day they come out, he'll have them within a couple

days.

Oh, wow.

And he's got a full bow shop set up down there.

He's got a tech that comes right in, sets the bows up, and then they shoot them and do a review on them oh okay

and that way you know he said a lot of it was for the guys that you know he wanted to provide

something for people that don't live right next to like pro shops and whatnot you know he said like

a guy in texas might have to drive an hour to go to a pro shop yeah and if i can save him from making that drive by knowing this is a good bow for him or not a good bow for him. Yeah. Well, in a lot of archery shops, they don't carry every brand, you know. No, not at all. They're usually what they handle one or two. Yeah, yeah. And so do you have a good pro shop up by you or do you try to do some of your stuff?

Yeah, there's a pretty good one right in Carrow there, Archery World.

They do good work.
