0:00.0	Well, hello there, top teachers. Today, I am your solo host, Michelle Emerson, and I'm here to help you master your time, organization, and productivity as a teacher.
0:12.2	Since I am solo hosting, you already know what that means. This is a week in the life episode, but it's going to be a little bit different than the week in the life episodes we have done in the
0:21.2	past because Bridget and I had this idea for the month of January.
0:25.4	We are doing a book review on getting things done, the art of stress-free productivity by
0:31.6	David Allen. If you listened to episode 158, we already discussed this, but Bridget and I are each going to record
0:39.7	a week in the life episode as we read the book so that in real time we can share how we're using
0:45.8	the strategies and what our thoughts are. And then we will end up doing a full book review episode
0:51.1	that will be coming up as episode 161. Now, typically when I sit down to record
0:57.3	these little Week in the Life segments, I have a bulleted list of things to discuss, but I am
1:02.3	100% winging it right now because Bridget and I actually just got off our Sunday call.
1:09.4	We had to record our Secret Santa Gift Exchange podcast.
1:13.6	So I'm actually recording this toward the beginning of December, but I figured I would just
1:19.3	jump in and go ahead and start the week in the life right now because my book arrived this
1:24.2	past week. And it's a good time for me to be productive because I've got a lot of
1:29.5	my plate right now. We'll discuss that throughout the week. Looking at the book, I figured if I'm
1:34.8	planning to read this in a week, I need to figure out what is the total number of pages and then
1:39.8	what does that mean for each day? Like how many pages do I need to read? So it looks like the book is
1:46.4	roughly 300 pages, so 301 to be exact, not including the appendix. If I divide that by seven days,
1:55.1	we're looking at around 42, 43 pages a day. Obviously, I'm not going to read 42 and then just stop there. I will kind of
2:03.8	divvy it up by chapters and whatnot. How many chapters is it? Hold on. Let me find. Okay,
2:08.7	it's 15 chapters plus the conclusion. So around two chapters a day, but some days maybe a little
2:15.2	bit more. We're just going to see how the week goes,
