And today, we're talking with prominent Bible teacher and author Shadia Harici about a woman

in the Bible who is often overlooked, Rehab.

Before we dive in, we want to give a brief summary of the story of Rehab.

She was a prostitute who lived in the city of Jericho.

The Israelite people were camped out in the wilderness

waiting to get into the promised land, aka Jericho.

Joshua sent two spies to scope out the city during a time of war.

While they were there, Rehab hid them in her home

to protect them from the king.

Rehab was a courageous woman who made a bold decision.
