Summary

Happiness Solved with Sandee Sgarlata. In this episode, Sandee interviews Dr. Bevan Choate. Dr. Bevna is a 37-year-old urologist who suffered a stroke just recently in the prime of his career and then wrote a novel detailing his experiences called The Stroke Artist.  He was top 7 in the Eyelands Magazine international writing contest. Overnight, he went from the ship’s captain to a passenger floating aimlessly at sea. His story is one of grit and the determination to be better—despite the odds. His happiness obsession: pallette-knife painting with acrylics. Became a salable artist during my stroke recovery and I paint every day now.
