Welcome to the perfume room. My send of the day today is Fisherson number 101. Now, I've had the

0:16.7

pleasure of smelling and wearing my way through the entire collection and they are all so special.

0:23.6

But if you're asking me for my favorite, and let me caveat that this does not include

0:28.1

the brand new faux flora collection, which is amazing and a whole thing of its own.

0:33.1

So excluding faux flora, my personal favorite is number 101.

0:37.5

It's very much an emma scent.

0:40.1

It's vegetal and green, gently herbaceous, but also, say it with me now, chalky and musky.

0:48.1

And of course, in true fisserson form, a little bit smoky.

0:52.2

Like, imagine if Pez, the candy, if Pez candy launched a celery or

0:57.5

parsley flavor. But then the head of the flavor department for Pez was like, you know what,

1:01.5

this isn't quirky enough. Let's torch it. It's like charred celery Pez. Tell me what sounds better.

1:09.9

It's inspired by unruly beautiful backyards of Reykjavik in the short but

1:14.1

luminous white night summers that end all too quickly and it is totally that. 101 feels at once

1:20.6

verdant and snowy. The chalky aspect of it gives it like a little bit of like a chilliness. It

1:27.2

smells like nothing else I've

1:28.2

ever smelled. And that's also because Fisher'sund works with an Icelandic distiller to source

1:33.0

essential oils from native Icelandic plants and flowers. So their palettes are truly entirely

1:39.5

unique. That context is my middle name and I am happy to attempt to place this perfume for you.

1:46.7

So, with again the caveat, that this does not smell the same as any of the sense I'm about to

1:52.2

mention, here is my perfume room movie pitch. Take the chalky texture and that vegetal muskiness

1:59.1

of fleur-de-po. Add a sort of smoky but again distinctly verdant haze.

2:03.9

Think something along the lines of like trude and de, but much less in Broxen.
