Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of Mormon Stories podcast dare I say a special edition of

Mormon Stories podcast we are here at the one year

anniversary and I shouldn't be all smiley and cheery about it. Should I I think we can be smiley?

I don't know about cheery. I think we can be smiley. We are here at the

little so we are somber and sober. We have our diet coke. That may be pepping us up a little bit.

We're here at the one year anniversary of the excommunication of our dear friend our colleague

the beloved the myth the legend. Oh my lamb. Natasha Helfer. And she likes to call it her sex

communication. That's right. That's exactly what I like to call it. Yeah. It was literally a year

ago today that I and Clinton Jenny Martin and Janice Bangler and was it Rebecca England and

Jody England and white and Katie Mount and Kyle Ashworth and many many others many many others

descended into which it taught Kansas to try and show up for and witness a sad I don't know

it was a comprehensively sad and tragic day I have no happy memories literally not one happy

memory and I don't mean to start so dark I don't have a happy memory about that that day.

Now I would agree even me dancing to queen was not really that happy. It was more like getting

just my frustrations out. Yeah. So we're here to process that and to honor Natasha and to give

viewers and listeners maybe even a chance to call in and share their perspectives as well. But

we're not alone Natasha you and I are not alone. We are not. You're not alone. We are joined for

the first time by a friend of mine who I've known longer than I've known Natasha. That's crazy.

But it's her first appearance formally on Mormon Stories podcast. She's one of the founders of

another Mormon themed podcast that has meant a lot to a lot of people for a long time. It's a podcast

called Ward Less that no longer is active but is still available. Oh yeah. But it's Amy Heffernin.
