| 0:55.3 | scholar Dr. Ronald Huggins. But today we're going to do a deep dive into one |
| 1:02.4 | particular subject that has been touched upon here and there but has never |
| 1:07.6 | received the attention that in my estimation it is due. We want a chronicle |
| 1:13.6 | Sandra's and Gerald's journey with the Book of Mormon which is a fascinating |
| 1:20.3 | sojourn from believing LDS members to believing Christians who continued to |
| 1:27.8 | hold the Book of Mormon as scripture to believing Christians who began to |
| 1:33.6 | doubt the book's scriptural status to that of critic of the book and then |
| 1:42.3 | their many resulting publications documenting what for them were |
| 1:46.7 | problematic areas. The story is a complex one which needs a layered and nuanced |
| 1:53.9 | recounting. For the sake of full disclosure I have known Sandra since about |
| 1:59.9 | 2014 since which time we have become close friends speaking mainly at long |
| 2:06.7 | distance but some occasional dinners when I would pass through Salt Lake City. |
