The topic we've been unpacking for a session or two is majesty, glory and honor.

And I want to continue that with a focus on the king and his kingdom.

You know, I think we talk a lot about our faith and our doctrines and our beliefs and our Bible translations, and that's all good stuff.

But at the end of the day it's a story of a

king in his kingdom. It was Jesus assertion that he was a king with the

kingdom that resulted in him being crucified. I mean I understand there were spiritual forces at work and

there were angry Jewish leaders but from Caesar's standpoint from the

standpoint of the Roman officials it was Jesus assertion that he was a king and that he had a kingdom that sealed his fate

and it's the fact that we have a king and his kingdom is coming that gives us the courage to endure and sustain and overcome because the
