you four rules to help you stop living paycheck to paycheck, get out of debt and save more money.

And my word can you save money at the pump lately it is all the

rage and easy because nobody has done anything about it and you just go and get to enjoy a far cheaper

price than I remember seeing in a long time I'm no gasoline price junkie I don't

actually look at gasoline prices very often neither does Julie I know

this because today on the way to the gym she said oh my gosh they're selling

gas for a dollar seventy nine.

And I said, Julie, they've been selling gas for a dollar seventy nine for a little while now.

It is low. And she said, under two dollars, that's crazy.

I said, it's been under two dollars for a while. Anyway, we don't look a ton of gas prices

for two reasons. One, because we don't drive the cars a whole lot. My commute is super, super tiny if I even take a car and Julie with

homeschooling out doesn't have to drive the car all over the place nearly as

much. So we don't spend a ton on gas and it's not a topic of

conversation for us. Those of you with massive commutes at the moment, I can see

that you know this would be a big deal we're talking about a 50% cut in what for some

of you is a massive expense I was talking with a friend who spends close to $800 a month on gasoline driving around for his business and suddenly he's spending 400 and it well not suddenly but over the last little while and it's game-changing. So what do you do with the the question. My approach would be for you to pretend that you're still paying normal

prices. Then when the prices come back, you won't have acclimated to higher spending in some other categories and you'll be ready to

rock and roll.

If you want to do a little bit of a mix, you could just pretend that the price is maybe 25% higher, 30% higher, whatever it is.

But budget, start padding your gas category.
