Hey everyone, it's Susan Coffin and you are listening to Attitude magazine's

ADHD experts audio and we welcome back today and

Dolan educational expert who has spoken pretty much every summer for

attitude on various topics. All of our children especially those with

learning and attention challenges deserve a summer break from the grind of

homework and quizzes and

schedules and parents deserve a break too.

But the facts are that a summer without learning

leads to lost skills and forgotten facts

and a pretty frustrating step backwards for kids who worked really hard all year long.

So in today's talk and Dolan will tell us why that learning is so critical to maintain over the summer

and describe ways to keep your kids mind sharp

especially during vacation days. Some of the things she'll be talking about

our hands-on projects that engage kids minds, how to get reluctant readers

excited about books, I know that's a topic that everyone is interested in,

and strategies for tackling the summer assignments that a lot of kids have.

She'll also recommend resources and books for all ages.

with over 20 years of teaching, tutoring, and consulting experience. She's worked with over 8,000 students
