Summary

For over two decades, Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert were America's most influential movie critics. Their show SISKEL & EBERT was partly consumer-report movie criticism, and partly a sitcom about two extremely-similar men who didn't particularly like each other. Revisiting the "Thumbs Up!"/"Thumbs Down!" titans gives Will and Luke opportunity to ponder questions about criticism, the canon, and how Siskel and Ebert represented "normalcy." PLUS: spirited discussion of Jerry Seinfeld and Bruce Lee.

0:25.2	No, I saw a single joke from it on Twitter, which made me, I mean, I was already not particularly inclined to watch Jerry Seinfeld's new Netflix special, I confess.

0:45.0	It's like, we're all thinking that, but he's the one who observed it and put it into words.

1:17.2	always comes down to something like, if you charge me too much for a popcorn and a movie ticket,
1:24.3	this is what I do with it. And he shows himself like unloading it on the floor, which is so
1:29.9	funny because I actually don't think he's probably been to a movie theater since 1986, I want to
1:35.7	say. So, you know, an observational comedian will always have trouble if he can no longer observe,
