When you're having a hard day, when you do something in perfect, when you say

something that hurts your child, if you can own it and have a conversation with

them about it and talk about how you're imperfect, you're not only showing

empathy for yourself, but you're showing them that you're human too. And I believe

a good enough parent is a parent who is aware and who is trying. It's not a parent

who gets it right all the time.
