Summary
In this episode, I break down the three traits I come back to when the goal feels heavy: discipline, commitment, and consistency. From Ironman Arizona to military training, I’ve learned success is built in the reps—showing up when it’s boring, repetitive, and hard. I also share how faith has strengthened my commitment to Go One More.

| 0:00.0 | Hello everyone and welcome back to another episode of the podcast. |
| 0:11.7 | Today's episode is on three words, three characteristics, three traits, three skills. |
| 0:21.7 | And those are discipline, commitment, and consistency. |
| 0:28.6 | As many of you probably know, I just finished Iron Man, Arizona. |
| 0:33.9 | That was November 16th. |
| 0:35.6 | So at this point, I've been done with that prep and that race for three weeks now. |
| 0:41.5 | And whenever I finish a fitness challenge, a professional goal, objective milestone, |
| 0:51.8 | there is a period of time after it is complete where there is just |
| 0:57.0 | this ability to reflect on the previous chapter, the previous season, what worked, what did not, |
| 1:07.6 | what I learned in that process. |
| 1:14.1 | And as I've been sitting in reflection, |
| 1:18.6 | a lot of my time sitting in reflection is spent in the sauna. |
| 1:27.2 | The sauna for me is my quiet place, it's my secret place. It is where i go to pray that is where i hear god very |
| 1:33.5 | vividly and it's also just a time to be still be present be patient, and listen. |
| 1:50.0 | That for me is either in the sauna or times when I'm running. |
| 1:57.1 | And these three words have just been top of mind a lot recently. |
| 2:02.3 | And as I planned this episode out and I started putting all these things together, |
| 2:09.5 | I think there's a much greater purpose and reason and why behind these three words, |
| 2:18.5 | which I'll get into. Like these three words at face value, they're just words. |
| 2:25.2 | And they are redundant words or descriptions or characteristics. |
| 2:27.5 | They get thrown around a lot. |
| 2:31.5 | They get overused, in my opinion, a lot. |
