Summary

You've been warned up front. This podcast has little to do with deer hunting. Over the holiday break my good friend Dan and I had the opportunity to catch up over a bottle of whiskey.

We are catching up on our lives as we've both traveled around the country since we graduated from grade school where our friendship began. We get into some debateable topics as well as some heavy political talk.

I realize not ever will be of the same opinion and im thankful for that.

1:09.4	It is Sunday, the 29th of December. Tuesday is New Year's Eve. I've got maybe if I'm lucky one or
1:22.6	two sits left. I've been bo-hunting my ass off. Weather's been awesome. I know people complain,
1:29.4	oh, we need cold. Well, we need snow. Well, yeah, I definitely like hunting in the snow.
1:35.2	It is a ton of fun, but I'll tell you what, man, it's been like late October temperatures
1:40.8	here in southeast Michigan lately, and it's been like a just this uh extended
1:47.9	most pristine archery weather that you could ask for and it's been very enjoyable deer hunting
1:55.6	the the last week seeing a few deer, missed a few opportunities, I'll say.
2:05.7	And, you know, closing in on what, like I said,
2:12.0	maybe one or two sits left if I'm lucky.
2:15.0	So whatever, I guess I'm starting to come to terms that there's going to be a
2:22.5	venison shortage in this household at some point this year being that I only killed one
2:27.4	deer my family can pretty easily go through two deer three deer is even nice because then I have some venison to give away to friends
2:36.0	and family. I will certainly be stingier with that this year. Probably no one's getting any
2:44.0	venison from me because I'm going to need it all for myself. Sorry about that. So this podcast, I'm going to plug a little disclaimer right here, right now.
