We're back.

Two weeks in hiatus.

I appreciate the kind messages from everyone asking if I'm alive and well.

In fact, I am.

It's just been the last couple weeks.

I've been insane with the holidays coming up, and I've been hunting really hard.

What do we got here, Michigan?

We've got less than a week, right?

One, two, three, four, five, six days.

Six days left, and I still have two tags and I got to fill one more.

I mean, we just, all I have in the freezer is about three quarters of a deer. My deer from deer camp is already, we've been hammering through that thing pretty good.

So I definitely want to put another deer down.

We do have an extended archery season here in the Tri-County metropolitan area.

As well, I do believe there may be some late-season antlerless opportunities throughout the state as well.

But here in McComb, I want to say Wayne and Oakland County because of the high deer population,

there's an antlerless archery season is extended, I believe, through the entire month of January.

So, you know, late season bow hunting is hard as hell enough as it is, but you get into

January and real cold temperatures, it can be a struggle.
