Taylor Wright came into this world on April 23rd, 1984.

We don't know where she was born, but Taylor grew up in Sunshine, Florida.

Unfortunately, her early life was much darker than the state

she lived in. Taylor had a difficult childhood. She left her family at 13, and Florida's Department

of Children and Families took her in. They placed Taylor in foster care, and she was lucky enough

to be adopted by a loving family by the time

she turned 14. Her adopted mother, Nancy Murchison, had a farm three hours outside of Pensacola

and introduced Taylor to horseback riding. It was an activity that they enjoyed doing together.

Taylor attended the University of North Carolina,

Wilmington, which was located on the state's coast. She graduated with a degree in criminal justice.

She worked as a police officer for the Jacksonville Police Department in North Carolina.

She focused on doing her job to the best of her ability and wanted nothing more than to be

considered an excellent cop. Taylor wanted to make a difference in her community by providing

protection and catching bad guys. Taylor married a man named Jeff Wright, who was three years her

senior and was in the military. The couple had one
