Before we get into the show I want to apologize that the audio quality for this

episode is not up to our regular standards. We have particular difficulty with

the Skype recording this time around and you'll hear some distortion in David's voice as well as the

occasional pop. Unfortunately there was nothing that we could do although we did

try to minimize this as much as possible throughout the recording. I hope that you'll agree with me

that the recording is still very listenable and that in this case the

users episode 15, Scrivener. Hello this is David Sparks along with me today is Katie Floyd. How are you doing Katie? I'm good David how are you? I'm doing great and today we are going to be talking in more depth about an application we covered briefly in our word processing

episode, Scrivener.

This seems to becoming a habit.

We tend to be doing more of these in-depth shows and I think a lot of people really like

them.

Hopefully, you know, we talked, I talked about Scrivener and the word crosses and

Joe, went back and listened to it and I was just kind of blathering on, I didn't really do a very good job of explaining how the application works and got quite a bit of email about it from users saying I didn't do it justice and from other people saying, you know, what the heck were you talking about?

So we thought we'd go back and cover this one in depth.

Well, and for those of you, what the heck people, I can relate because I was one of those,

what the heck are you talking about people I had never used

scrivener before and was aware of it from our word processing program but had never

used it so I am a scrivener newbie I've dug into it enough to know the basics of the show but David's got the

David's in the driver scene on this one yeah which is kind of neat because I've been using it for years and so I'm used to all of its

intricacies, you know, and there are no problem to me because I've been using it for so long

and since you're new to it I'm very curious to hear
