The Hello and welcome to 15 days of festive fear 2025 and we are on day number 13.

And I have two spooky stories for you today.

And our first story comes from Elise.

The first thing I have to say is that my family and I moved into our current house when I was about eight years old.

The old owner of the house had died here with his adult son and wife.

I'm a believer in the paranormal, but this is mostly because I've experienced this myself.

So the first encounter I can remember is a few years ago when I was about eight.

This has been a reoccurring thing in my house and I've kind of gotten used to it.

I was lying down at about 8.30 at night and it was a few weeks after we had moved.

I had a fear of the unknown then and still do. I was lying down and all of a sudden

I heard a thick, sharp tapping from the roof, like someone or something was skittering around

the attic. We have an attic, but the hatch is sealed and it's disgusting up there. It sounded as if

a huge spider was crawling up there.

I was really freaked out and decided to tell my mom about it.

It happens all the time.

And sometimes I think it might have been the old owner's pet, or even him.

The next encounter was when I was eight or nine.

I had just had a fight with my mom and I had stormed off to my room.

As I was lying down, I glanced at the closet door and it flew open as if someone had pushed it.

I screamed and ran to my mom crying.

She was trying to calm me down but failed.

As I had seen the door and no one was even
