I'm not going to yield. It is not in our national interest to join this war, and we will not do so.

The Conservative leader Kemi Badenok calls on Sakhir Stama to publish a long-awaited blueprint on military spending.

Our armed forces are at the end of their tether,

waiting for this government to fund the Strategic Defence Review.

Also tonight, the Liberal Democrats back calls

for an Australian-style ban on social media for under 16s.

But first, Sarkier Stama has insisted he is not going to yield to pressure from Donald Trump

after the US president threatened to change a trade deal with the UK because of the Prime

Minister's handling of the Iran War.

My position on the Iran War has been clear from the start. We're not going to

get dragged into this war. It is not our war. And a lot of pressure has been applied to me to take

a different course. And that pressure included what happened last night. I'm not going to change my

mind. I'm not going to yield. It is not in our national

interest to join this war and we will not do so. I know where I stand. The Prime Minister made

his comments after he was challenged by the Liberal Democrat leader Sir Ed Davy, who repeated

his call for the King's State visit to the United States to be cancelled.
