Summary

We apologize so much it’s actually offensive. Your empty apology for being late means nothing. Your apology for taking up space in an elevator minimizes all women. Your apology for taking 24 entire hours to reply to an email minimizes the value of you and your time. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

1:16.8

to apologize for taking up space. You are modeling to your children that you should apologize

1:20.9

in order to make yourself look smaller and make yourself look unimportant. You're teaching your

1:25.9

children that an apology isn't really worth that much. And you're teaching your children that an apology isn't really worth that

1:28.3

much and you're teaching your children that they should apologize for things when they've really
