So what's your take on the famous expression,

having it all? I personally can't stand it. But you know when

feminists launched the having it all movement I think it was you know decades ago

probably sometime in the late 70s early early 80s, I think the goal was to really help

women achieve individual freedom and fulfillment, but also revolutionized the world.

And over the generations, I think this expression has evolved to mean different things to different women and for me at this point it's evolved into this impossible thing like having it all

I appreciate the sentiment, but I think that it does

unleash some unnecessary pressure on women and families to really go above and beyond in ways that can really stretch their

bandwidth and really compromise their happiness in some ways because you're trying to achieve

this ideal that really is ideal and it's not really

meant it's perfection in some ways and so striving for perfection is is not always a healthy thing.

So needless to say, I think this expression has found itself at the center of much debate.
