It may be one of the more commonly failed maneuvers, and I'll tell you as an examiner,

man, a lot of them are ugly that I see.

But I'll tell you as an examiner, I can usually tell in the first 45 degrees of your turn

if we're going to botch this or not.

That's examiner Jason Blair talking about lazy eights, which he says as the maneuver

pilots are most likely to fail on the commercial check ride.

And if you're thinking, well, that doesn't apply to me.

I'm never going to get a commercial certificate.

We'll first talk about good reasons for any pilot

to get the commercial certificate. And then Jason will talk us through how to fly each of the

commercial check ride maneuvers and tell us as an examiner what he's looking for on a check ride.
