I have had to learn that it is okay to take even that kind of grief and anger and disappointment

to God, because there's nowhere else to take it that matters.

He's the only one.

So, you know, as hard as it is, and I really had to learn this too, that the answers aren't necessarily

going to come. And in that, we have to find a way forward.

Hi, everyone. Welcome to Talk It Out. We are today going to spend just a little bit of time with you

talking about something that's pretty serious,

but important to talk about, because we all face it

in one time or another, and that is disappointment with God.

And Aaron and Joyce and I and our guests,

we've all talked about this through the years of

doing Talk It Out, whether it's just being disappointed or angry at God or things just not going

the way that you felt they should.

I don't know, maybe even kind of annoyed at times,

or even feeling like, this thing doesn't work, you know? And so all those questions come up.

And so that's what we're going to talk about today. And I think together we can maybe come to a

place that we don't necessarily find the answers, but maybe we find a little bit of peace.

I think that's a good way to say it.

I kind of wonder if this is something that will always have to kind of work through.

And it's never something that will achieve total – I don't even know if trust is the right word, but...

Maybe trust is the solution.
