for supporting the show. I must tell you, Clay, I've been thinking about Jefferson and some advice

that he had for me. What was that? That I was out of my mind to live in a climate that was so

cold him, him saying, I'm a mirror orangutan, and as we are in this January sub-zero Dakota,

whether I think, you know, Jefferson might have been on to something. Well, it has been an unusually

cold period here on the upper great plains. It snowed a ton over Christmas. I'm still trying to dig

out up in my little section of Bismarck, North Dakota, but the cold has been really profound. There

have been warnings on television and so on, and I have friends who are ranchers who put blankets on

their horses, and the horses are huddled in as courses they can get to shelter. It doesn't happen

very often anymore that we get these severe cold snaps, but this is one of them. And then,

but always, my friend Jim fugly says, there's the January thaw, and I can't tell you how much I'm

looking forward to that. You know, there's something else that I need to do, and that is thank your

lovely daughter for filling in for me the week after New Year's. It was so good to hear her voice.

I trust that she's been traveling safely and well, and when you speak to her, would you think

her on my behalf? Of course, I'll thank her. No, she, I asked her to show a little snark,

and she showed more towards... I think you have to ask. More towards me than to you this time, my

friend, although you got a little, but I wanted to, I thought when you said you were taking

advice from Jefferson, it was never spent your money before you have it or always count to 10 when

you're upset or take things always by the smooth handle, but it turns out don't live in North Dakota.

I say that in jest, but he does have a point. At the risk of this getting too long, let's talk about
