Today you're going to hear my conversation with Simon Sinek where we focus on the topic of purpose at work. Purpose is one of those things that we think is so important to people right now, when work might feel difficult and when it

certainly feels different, purpose can give you a sense of direction. And Simon has some really

practical and insightful things to share with us about how we can get our own sense of purpose,

how we can find our own why and connect that to the work that we do.

Hi, Simon. Hi, thanks for having me. And I feel like Simon is one of those people that needs little introduction, but I'm going to do it anyway, everybody. Many of you

may be aware of Simon's work. His TED Talk, how great leaders inspire action, has over 50 million views, which I can't quite

imagine, but it's a huge, huge amount, and it just keeps growing. He's also the author of five

books, including Start with Why Leaders Eat Last and most recently The Infinite Game. And in his own

words, he is an unshakable optimist who believes in a bright future and our ability to build it together,

which I think is something that we need now more than ever. So thank you very much, Simon, for

bringing that to us. And we wanted to focus our conversation today on the role of purpose in your

career and how that can help you. Maybe we've got some of you are experiencing right now.
