altered format for today's show. The first half of the show will be a conversation with

Rob Colby of Need Wetsuits. And then the second half of the show will be my pre-pipe masters analysis.

I've been eager to offer detailed analysis before and after each CT event.

And Scott and I kind of attempt to do so oftentimes in our surf news episodes.

But it usually goes off the rails.

We end up discussing steak recipes,

haircuts, music documentaries, whatever else. You're very familiar with the show, I'm sure.

Anyway, as an experimental format today, I'm going to offer you this analysis kind of as a monologue,

not a conversation. I'll just give you my analysis of the upcoming Pipe Masters event.

And then please, of course, as always, give me your feedback on it. And if you dig it, perhaps I'll

implement it through the 2017 WSL season of events. And then also, a quick reminder, just I want to get out at the top of the show.
