My birthday was a couple days ago, and I've been celebrating for a whole week now. I just turned 36. I'm feeling amazing. It was a great birthday. The celebrations did not stop, but finally,

you know what got me? Tiny my braces. Tiny my braces. I did that yesterday. I'm in so much pain

right now. Not only that, yo girl got her period too. So double whammy. I'm in pain,

but we're pushing through and i wanted to just say

thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday on social media i really appreciate it i felt the love

it was just like a wonderful birthday it's probably one of my top favorite birthdays that i've had in a long

time i celebrated with my mom the day of the wonderful birthday. It's probably one of my top favorite birthdays that I've had in a long time.

I celebrated with my mom the day of. Then I celebrated with my friends. My brother came over yesterday,

took me to dinner. So it's been a non-stop celebration on Easter, too. My family bought me cake. So I'm really feeling the love. I'm feeling amazing. I can't believe I'm 36.

That's crazy to say. And yeah, don't be afraid to get older. Like honestly, I feel like I'm barely

living it up to my full potential. I am thriving and I feel great. I feel amazing.

This year I have a feeling it's gonna be a good year.

And I'm just staying positive and just thanking God for another year of life.

Let me give you guys some little tea that I have from the day of my birthday.

I went to eat brunch with my mom. We had this server. Somehow the conversation came up that I was there celebrating my birthday, and he asked me, how old are you turning today? And I was like, oh, he's like, oh, wow, the cremitas of her, las cremitas of Sephora, and El Erba Life, they. And I was like, kind of like, is that a compliment? But a weird way to say it, right? And the way he looked at me was just strange. That added another layer to the creepiness. And then, so then I'm like, whatever, ignore it. And then he asked me, do you have children? And I'm like, no, I don't.

And then he goes, well, what are you waiting for?

Like, do you want it? Or did you already decide that you don't want any else? Like, I haven't made the decision, sir. Like, and in that moment, I froze. You know, usually I'd be like, why didn't you say anything, Melina? Like, if someone would have told me this story, I would have told them, why didn't you tell them that it was none of their business? But I was so shocked of all the things he was saying. He was like, yeah, like, me and my partner tried to have a kid. And like, basically, she was around your age. And they told her that she wouldn't be able to have a healthy baby. And yeah, pretty much you're done.

You're done, so your ovaries dried up, girl.

He didn't say exactly that, but that's what it felt like.

I just don't understand how people have the audacity to say things like that.

What if I was going through a heartbreak?
