Hello, everybody. Welcome back. Thank you, as always, for listening. Today, I will be

talking about mutual fund capital gain distributions. Those who know what I'm

talking about, you know what I'm talking about. These are something that particularly in a

regular taxable brokerage account, you might find interesting, confusing, taken by surprise

by it and what they are and the tax implications of it. So I'm going to walk through what they are

in a good amount of detail and give you some tips and tricks for how to try to estimate them,

deal with them, what they are, et cetera. I did an episode on this a few years ago. I want to say

2022. Now, I could have just been lazy and been like, you know, replay that or just

tell you go, go listen to that. But I figure it's been a while. I like to think in theory that people

go back and look at old episodes of this show to find all the good stuff I did years back. But

reality probably doesn't happen. So, hey, why not? Can't hurt to do it you know to do it again plus it gives me additional content so i don't have to

keep always coming up with something brand new even though like i said i did talk about this a few

years ago but it's uh new enough since it's been a few years so here we go um i just had a policeman

knock on my door saying he was looking for a man with one eye i told him to use both as he'd probably

find him a lot quicker that That one's pretty basic.

I should probably just scratch that and did something different. But no, I thought that was an

interesting joke. I remember something like that when I was a kid and thought it was hilarious at

the time. Now it made me chuckle a little bit. Not my best dad joke, but hey, it's something.
