In this episode you're going to learn about a more efficient, more effective way to give

feedback to students.

It's called Flash Feedback.

Most teachers know that giving high quality feedback is one of the most important things

we can do to help our students learn.

But knowing what's good for them and actually delivering it are two different things.

The fact is, few teachers have class sizes small enough to allow for the kind of feedback

that would really be optimal.

So most of us aren't giving nearly as much feedback as we could be.

And until the day arrives when our class sizes are just right for good feedback, we have

three choices.

One, we can run ourselves ragged trying to give as much individual feedback as possible,

sacrificing a whole bunch of other personal and professional activities to make it happen.

Two, we can throw in the towel, accept the limitations of our reality and just give the

bare minimum of feedback.

Both of these are not very attractive options, but there is a third.

We can make our feedback more efficient so it takes less time away from other things,

but still gets the job done.

It's that third option we're going to talk about in this episode.
