Welcome to the perfume room. I am so excited to tell you about my scent of the day today because it is a brand new obsession for me. This is not a brand new launch, but it is brand new to my nose.

And that is Coeur des Ange from Atelier Desaure. And if you follow me on Instagram,

or if you listen to the podcast I was on last week, which we'll get to in a second,

then you already know how I feel about this fragrance. But I had first smelled it. It's an Atelier Desor scent. And they had a launch party for their two new 2024 releases, Blue Madeline and Villaprimrose, which are both lovely scents, but not what I'm talking about today.

Today I'm talking about Caudet-Dazin.

So at this launch party, they had a table with all the other fragrances from Atelier Desort.

And I had thought that I had

smelled everything in this collection, but surely I was wrong because I would never forget having

smelled the scent. Immediately, it moved me. It struck a cord. This is one of the most joyous,

warm, rounded, suggestively gourmand, but not actually gourmand, that I have ever

encountered. And I just love it. And the way that I think of it when I smell it on my skin is like

if Nara Smith made homemade fruit loops. It has that sort of like starchy, leady, slightly malty,

but still like fruity, citrusy

candied thing going on. And its texture feels like a little bit chalky, a little bit stony,

but there's something about it that feels so luxurious, which is why I think of like someone

like Nara Smith making homemade fruit loops as opposed to just you know

getting your trying to a box at the grocery store what's interesting and i i want to talk about

this because i posted about how much i'm loving it and one of you message me that this reminds you

of this fragrance reminds you of the smell of flintstone vitamins and i have to say i don't get it completely because I don't know that I'd want to smell

like Flintstone vitamins, and I adore wearing this.

But I want to co-sign that because for me, blood orange is a citrus note that I tend to

avoid for that exact reason.
