Our mobility, our bones, our muscles, all of this is being impacted by erratic changes in hormones.

When we get to early perimenopause, and that's usually early 40s, the thing about perimenopause,

and that's why it is so tricky. I always say it's like a moving target, is that there's no one day where it announces itself.

And there's no definitive test. It's really based on a

clinical diagnosis of symptoms. So kind of like when we go through our first puberty, if a girl,

she's 11 years old, she's starting to have a cycle, we don't need a test to determine that she's in

puberty at that point, right? So if a woman is in her early to mid-40s or maybe even 39 years old, and she is

experiencing cyclical symptoms, she's having menstrual cycle changes, and she's not feeling

like herself. Most likely it is perimenopause. There's a myth that this zone of chaos is temporary,

but a lot of the silent shifts that are

happening are not. The bone loss, that's not temporary. The muscle loss isn't temporary. The brain

remodeling, that's not necessarily temporary either. We have to listen to our body. We got to attune

to the signals of our body and address them. What can they do to address those issues?
