To gather in spiritual huddles and to deny the necessity of the cross and to have polite discussions about how we can engage our culture is to abandon our assignment.

And I believe with all of my heart it will result in God's judgment upon the church, not upon the wicked.

The church is the original global initiative.

Everybody that's come later has been trying to catch up.

We were multicultural before multicultural was chic.

The church is comprised of men and women from every nation, race, language, and tribe united under the

headship of Jesus.

The topic we've been unpacking has to do with God's kingdom and power.

I do not believe that we will be able to complete the assignment that is before us without a greater awareness of the power of God and how to cooperate with him. And so I want to take a few sessions to see if we can understand it with more clarity.

And in my imagination what I'm really trying to do for myself is to recalibrate my servant meter.

Because I've been around church a bit.

I've got some years invested, and I have some habits and some patterns,

and I have some imaginations, and we have have routines and it's not easy to break

routines but we're in this season where our routines are going in the shredder.

So it's a wonderful time to learn about the Lord in some new ways. Sit in some new places in the sanctuaries.

Park in some new places in the parking lot.

Experience church in a different way.
