We continue to follow the capture and killing of Osama bin Laden now.

Those are just some of the scenes overnight as thousands of Americans gathered in celebration of Osama bin Laden's death.

Former Navy SEAL Rob O'Neill says he has thought about the mission every day since that May Day in 2011. For multiple conversations you had with Rob O'Neal over the past a year and a half, how'd you get... And you described that his head kind of exploded when you hit him. I actually hit him three times because I shot him twice when he was standing and once on the camera. That is the fucking American badass.

We are not going for fame and we are not going for bravado.

We are going for the single mom who dropped her kids off at elementary school on a Tuesday morning

and then 45 minutes later she jumped to her death out of a skyscraper.

Hey, welcome back to the Operator Podcast. I'm your host, Robert J. O'Neill, former C-O-Theme-6 operator. This is episode on or about 144. It's 144, for sure. It definitely is. Week off, thank you for your patience. It is the travel time. It's the time to get out there and do stuff. I just actually, I've been flying all week. I'm going to fly out this week, probably most next week. So I might run in, if you're flying, I might run into you in an airport. And hopefully we can do that and hash out whatever needs to be hatched out face to face.

Probably nothing. Hopefully something. I'm sure there's something we can all talk about if we

see each other, but it's going to be good. It's an interesting life this time of year. It's when

speeches pick up. Congress, whoa, they're back to work. Crazy. I hope they had a nice month or so

off because they do bust their asses during campaign season for sure.

Not going to be in and around D.C. not bad. I don't mind. I like going there for some of the history.

But once you know what's going on behind the scenes it is a little frustrating

because like yeah there's beautiful museums and great buildings it's all paid for by you

and if you knew the filth that goes on behind the scenes um and you know and uh i'm both sides of the

aisle man it's those uh lifers those career staffers, the swamp.

So I got to go there and see it again.
