0:46.5	showrunner Scott Gimble and so excited to be talking with Scott because we've been
0:52.1	trying to get Scott for about a year and a half now, but this actually turned out to be a great time to talk to him right after the conclusion of his first season as showrunner. and I did the interview earlier today. I thought it was really great, fascinating. I didn't get to ask even half the questions I had for him, but you know we're lucky to have him for as long as we did and let's favorite season of Walking Dead so far and a bunch of our listeners have said the same thing.
1:38.0	So I just want to thank you for doing such an amazing job on the show.

1:43.0	I mean that's, you know, that's high praise from you guys.
1:45.4	I mean, you guys are, I would say you guys watch with an intensity unmatched.

1:52.0	Yeah, a lot of our listeners do too and we get. to the
1:55.0	and how that. A lot of our listeners do too and we get you know lots of email and people come up with things that we hadn't considered so it's just really fun to be able to chew on something like that.
2:03.4	And this season especially has given us a lot.
2:07.0	It felt deeper to me and looking back over the season,
2:10.8	a lot of the elements felt more connected and reverberated across individual episodes more than usual, like big themes even, or little elements,
2:21.0	pacifism versus brutality, down to the sunflowers appearing in a painting and again
2:26.0	at Terminus. And I almost picture you at home with like a big corkboard with like beautiful
2:31.3	mind style, post-it notes with strings attaching them all.
2:35.9	I just wanted to know if it was especially important for you to connect things this season
2:40.1	and how did you manage to do that? I think the thing that allows us to do it and gives us a chance to, I guess, do that extra stuff.
