We're talking with showrunner Scott Gimple.

I'm so excited to be talking with Scott because we've been trying to get Scott for, oh,

about a year and a half now.

But this actually turned out to be a great time to talk to him right after the conclusion of his first season as showrunner.

And I did the interview earlier today.

I thought it was really great, fascinating.

I didn't get to ask even half of the questions I had for him, but, you know, we're

lucky to have him for as long as we did. And let's get right to it. Hope you enjoy. Be right

First off, I just want to tell you that this was mine and Karen's favorite season of Walking Dead so far,

and a bunch of our listeners have said the same thing.

I mean, that's, you know, that's high praise from you guys. I mean, you guys are, I would say you guys watch with an intensity unmatched. How's that?

Yeah. A lot of our listeners do too. We get, you know, lots of email and people come up with things

that we hadn't considered. So it's just really fun to be able to chew on something like that.

And this season especially has given us a lot.
