So I thought I'd give you not just a peek, but the entire lesson one of what I'm going

to be streaming for free this year. It's the first full lesson of my new series titled Introduction to Real Prayer,

which is one of the many video courses at ScienceofSainthood.com.

Now, over the past few years, as you know, I've streamed other series like Catholic mysticism

in the beautiful life of grace, St. Trisavavila's Nine Grades of Prayer, prayer and total abandonment to God's will. Last year I showed liturgy and life unveiling the mystical movement of the mass, and many

thousands of people around the world have gone through these series, and they're now

available as group studies for parishes as well.

But this year?

Well, I wanted to focus more on what I think is the most essential topic when it comes

to our spiritual life.

Prayer. Because here's the thing.

If we don't have a real life of prayer, we're fooling ourselves if we think we have a real

relationship with God. As Mother Teresa said, prayer is as necessary as the air, as the blood in our

bodies, as anything to keep us alive, to keep us alive to the grace of God. So, beginning Ash Wednesday, I'm going to stream my new series Introduction to Real Prayer

absolutely free. It's an incredibly powerful study designed for regular Catholics that will

teach you exactly how to engage the Lord in prayer. Because the reality is that many of us were

never actually taught anything other than some vocal prayers like the R.F. or H.L.M.A.R.E. which are certainly important, but not the sum total of our prayer lives.

And even those of us who have gone further into meditative prayer, more often than not

hit a wall at some point and don't know how to make further progress.
