So on this episode of the podcast my guest today is Esther Bangura

and she's a special guest because Esther is a member of the

Clever Girl Finance team and she is someone that I work with and talk to almost

every single day and so I'm really excited to have her come on here to

share her debt payoff story and Esther paid off over 18,000 pounds of debt even

though she experienced a 55% decrease in her income and her

husband lost his job as well and so on this episode she shares what letter to the

point where she wanted to become debt free,

how she navigated that loss of income and the things that she did in order to get herself back on

her feet and start to work towards paying off her debts to now eventually

becoming debt-free.

And I think Esther's story is relevant in this season because a lot of people are experiencing job losses and layoffs right now

and many people may be feeling discouraged about their financial plans and

while this is a difficult season for many, there is still opportunity and there is still light at the end of the tunnel.

And so I just want to encourage you not to give up and not to lose focus.

Your timeline may change. Your plans may need to be adjusted, but you can still achieve your goals.
